Slaide ("we", "us", or "our") operates the slaide.app website and service. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and will never sell, license, or commercially exploit your data.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign in with Google OAuth, we receive and store:

• Your name and email address
• Your Google profile picture URL

We do not receive or store your Google password. Authentication is handled entirely by Google's OAuth 2.0 service.

Presentation Content

When you use Slaide, we store:

• Presentation titles, content (Markdown), and generated HTML
• Chat messages between you and the AI assistant
• Theme, layout, and language preferences for each presentation

Uploaded Files

If you upload files (Excel, CSV, or PDF), we store:

• The original file in secure cloud storage
• Extracted text content used for AI analysis
• File metadata (name, type, size)

Your uploaded files are used solely to generate your presentation. They are never shared with third parties, used for model training, or repurposed for any commercial use beyond providing the service to you.

Payment Information

Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see, store, or have access to your credit card number or banking details. We only store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information exclusively to:

• Generate and store your AI presentations
• Maintain your account and subscription
• Enable sharing features you explicitly activate
• Process uploaded files for AI-powered slide generation

We do not use your content, uploaded files, or presentation data to train AI models, for advertising, for analytics profiling, or for any purpose other than providing the Slaide service to you.

3. Data Sharing

We share data only with the following service providers, strictly to operate the service:

• Supabase — Database and file storage hosting
• Anthropic — AI model provider (receives your prompts and uploaded text to generate slides)
• Stripe — Payment processing
• Google — Authentication (OAuth only)

We do not sell, rent, or provide your data to any other third parties.

4. Public Sharing

Presentations are private by default. If you enable public sharing, the presentation HTML becomes accessible via a unique link. You can disable sharing at any time, which immediately revokes public access.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete individual presentations (including all associated messages and uploaded files) at any time. If you wish to delete your entire account and all associated data, please contact us at the email below.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security policies on all database tables, and secure cloud infrastructure. Uploaded files are stored in private buckets accessible only to the file owner.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies only for authentication session management. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the service. Continued use of Slaide after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
