These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Slaide service operated at slaide.app. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

Slaide is an AI-powered presentation generator. You provide topics, text, or data files, and our AI creates professional slide presentations. The service includes presentation creation, editing via chat, exporting (HTML/PDF), and optional public sharing.

2. Account

You must sign in with a Google account to use Slaide. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the service.

3. Subscription Plans

Slaide offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe.

• Free — 3 presentations per month, HTML download
• Pro — 30 presentations per month, PDF export, public sharing
• Business — 100 presentations per month, file upload, AI data analysis

Monthly quotas reset on the first day of each calendar month. Unused quota does not carry over. You can cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

4. Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create, upload, or generate through Slaide. This includes your prompts, uploaded files, and the resulting presentations.

We claim no ownership or license over your content beyond what is necessary to provide the service (storing, processing, and displaying your presentations). Your data is yours.

5. Uploaded Files

When you upload files (Excel, CSV, PDF), the content is extracted and sent to our AI provider to generate slides. By uploading a file, you confirm that:

• You have the right to use and share the file contents
• The file does not contain malware or malicious content
• You understand the extracted text will be processed by a third-party AI model

We do not use your uploaded files for any purpose other than generating your requested presentation. Files can be deleted at any time from within the editor.

6. AI-Generated Content

Presentations are generated by AI and may contain inaccuracies, outdated information, or unintended content. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated content before sharing or presenting it. Slaide does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated output.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Slaide to:

• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, or violates others' rights
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or abuse the service or its AI systems
• Share login credentials or allow unauthorized access to your account
• Upload files containing sensitive personal data (e.g., SSN, medical records) of others without consent
• Automate access or scrape the service without written permission

8. Availability & Limitations

We strive to keep Slaide available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes that temporarily affect availability. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

Slaide is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
